Every year the American Marketing Association holds a national collegiate conference where every collegiate AMA chapter is invited to attend. For the past few years, including the upcoming 2010 conference, it has been held in New Orleans.

This is the only conference that the RIC chapter attends and it has been nothing but an amazing time in all aspects of the trip every time. It can be described as the ultimate marketing experience as those who attend can learn from experienced marketers and representatives from top companies, celebrate their chapter's accomplishments while participating in many exciting competitions, as well as take advantage of one of the greatest networking opportunities they will ever get.

The 2009 conference provided our chapter the chance to network with over 1,300 other students from across the nation, their advisors, and many successful business professionals. Be sure to ask us about some of the amazing people we were able to meet and how it has opened doors for our futures. Being able to connect with students from every corner of America who share similar goals and interests has also proved beneficial as we remain in contact with many of them.

Put simply, the New Orleans conference is a can't miss opportunity.
